Terms of Service

1. Who we are

MaritimeTest (the "Service", "we", "us") is operated from Moldova and is available at maritimetest.com.

By creating an account, buying access or downloading any material you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What we provide

The Service provides study and preparation materials: practice questions with answers for professional maritime tests, including CES (Crew Evaluation System), CBT / Seagull, SETS / SETS 6000 and Mintra / Ocean Learning Platform.

Materials are intended for self-study and exam preparation. They are not official test material, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any test provider, classification society or training centre. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. We do not claim authorship of, or ownership over, third-party test questions, answers or other material referenced by the Service; rights in that material belong to their respective owners.

We do not guarantee that you will pass any examination. Test providers may change their question banks at any time, and official questions and answers may differ from ours.

3. Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address and keep your password secure.
• One account per person. Sharing an account is not allowed.
• You are responsible for all activity carried out under your account.
• We may suspend or close an account if we detect sharing, automated scraping, payment fraud or other abuse.

4. Prices, payment and access

• Prices are shown in US dollars and charged through PayPal.
• Single test and All-access are one-time purchases: access does not expire.
• The monthly subscription renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in your PayPal account; access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
• Free trial: one trial per person, giving full access to a single test for the stated trial period.
• Free search: a limited number of free searches per day for users without paid access.

Refunds and cancellations are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Access and restrictions

When you buy access, you get personal, non-transferable access to the materials for your own study. You may not:

• copy, resell, publish, share or redistribute the materials in any form;
• share your login or make the materials available to anyone else;
• scrape, crawl or bulk-download the Service by automated means;
• remove or alter the watermark that identifies your account in downloaded copies.

Materials delivered to your device are personal copies and may contain a watermark identifying your account.

6. Offline access

Tests can be stored on your device and studied without an internet connection. Offline copies remain valid for a limited period — currently up to 90 days for one-time purchases, and until the end of the paid period plus a grace period for subscriptions. After that, an internet connection is required to refresh your access.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may add, change or remove content, and we may update these Terms. Material changes are reflected by the "last updated" date above.

8. Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including exam results, lost profits or lost data. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Moldova. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence still apply.
