Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 23 September 2026
1. The short version
- Access is digital and delivered instantly. You can evaluate everything for free before paying: every test shows the first questions with answers, and every new account gets a free 3-day trial of one full test.
- If you have used the paid content, we do not refund. Using it means opening any paid test after the purchase.
- If you have not used it, you can ask for a refund within 48 hours of payment and we will refund in full.
- Charges that were never meant to happen — duplicate charges, payment without access, or unauthorised card use — are always refunded in full.
2. Why we do not refund used content
The materials are the product itself, and a single test can be read in an hour. A user can buy access, study the full test, pass the exam and then ask for the money back. We are happy for you to make sure the materials suit you before paying — that is exactly what the free preview and the free trial are for — but once the paid content has been opened, the value has been received.
3. Refunds we always make
- Duplicate charge: you were charged twice for the same purchase.
- Payment without access: the payment completed but access was not granted, and our support could not resolve it.
- Unauthorised use of a card: the payment was made without the cardholder's consent.
In these cases we refund the full amount to the original payment method. Refunds are issued through PayPal and usually appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
4. Subscriptions
- You can cancel at any time in your PayPal account — no need to contact us.
- After cancelling, access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- We do not refund partially used months, and cancelling does not remove access for the paid period.
5. How to request a refund
Email support@maritimetest.com from the address you registered with, and include the PayPal transaction or receipt number. We reply within two business days. Requests made within the 48-hour window on unused content are approved automatically.
6. Payment disputes and chargebacks
If something went wrong, please contact us first — almost every case is resolved faster than a dispute process. If a chargeback is opened without contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend the account while the dispute is reviewed, and to recover reasonable costs where the dispute was unfounded.
7. Your statutory rights
Consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. For digital content supplied immediately this right is lost once delivery has begun with your prior consent and your acknowledgement that you lose the right of withdrawal. We ask for that consent on the checkout page before payment.
Nothing in this policy excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the mandatory law of your country of residence. If such law gives you stronger rights, those rights apply.
